Privacy Policy

1. We don't read your chats.

Your privacy is our core principle. When you upload a chat export to ReadMyChat, the entire analysis happens directly in your browser's memory. We do not store, read, or transmit your conversation history to our database. Once you close the tab, it's gone forever.

2. What we actually collect

We only store information necessary to provide you with your account and premium features:

• Your email address and basic profile information (if you create an account).
• Authentication tokens to keep you logged in securely.
• Subscription status and payment history (handled securely by Stripe).
• Basic analytics about feature usage (e.g., how many conversations you analyzed) so we can improve the app.

3. AI Analysis & OpenAI

When you use our "Ask Your Conversation" feature or request deep insights, we send aggregated, anonymized statistics and limited conversation snippets to OpenAI to generate the response. We do not use your personal conversations to train any AI models, and OpenAI is strictly prohibited from using this data for training.

4. Deleting your data

You are in full control. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Account Settings page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
